Cute error messages/disconnects PERSIST INTO WEEK 4.
How is this possible? The game is STILL often unplayable for me and, as a quick google search will reveal, countless other players who supported your company with a purchase of a commercial product at full price THREE WEEKS AGO.
Every other online game/application works flawlessly for me. Problems are limited specifically to this game.
Correct port forwarding/NAT -- Check.
System cache deleted -- Check.
Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi -- Check.
Reinstalled game data (multiple times) -- Check.
Static IP -- Check.
Modem/router/console resets -- Check.
Try again at a later time -- Check.
Admittedly, I expected the game not to work for the first day or two, which is kinda sad considering the game was released worldwide into the retail market. A release of a commercial product usually signifies that it is a finished product, capable of functioning as it was intended. When it does not function properly, it adds insult to injury when Bungie tells us to make sure things are correct on our end, instead of admitting that they are having some significant trouble on their end. Bungie, please allow me to respectfully remind you: many of us are adults who are familiar with the increasingly digital world we live in, and many of us have some knowledge of networking systems. Many of us are fully aware that you are having difficulty handling your side of things. Just say it. Level with us.
Until then, I suppose I'll continue to pardon your dust. You guys are adorable.
Good luck in week 4, everyone.
