As it stands now, the people who don't want to play PvP only have two vendors for legendary gear: The class specific Vanguard vendor and the Vanguard Armory vendor. On the other hand, the players who want to play PvP have five vendors for legendary gear: The three faction vendors (FWC, DO, NM), the Crucible armor vendor, and the Crucible weapons vendor. It's possible to earn faction reputation through either PvE or PvP activities (provided you wear the appropriate mark), yet only PvP currency can be spent at the faction vendors.
I propose that faction vendors be adjusted to accept Crucible marks or Vanguard marks. This would give both activities the same number of vendors (three faction vendors shared, two specific vendors for each) and it would still work within the in-game fiction (destroying the enemies of the faction to gain favor and gear, etc).
What do you think? Agree? Disagree?

I agree that it's lopsided making faction gear require crucible marks. not sure how best to correct that, since using both types of marks would be confusing to implement. "oh crap, I forgot to toggle my marks for this purchase!" maybe have a transfer system to spend crucible/vanguard marks in exchange for faction marks? then both types would work
