Dear Bungie,
Your exotic quest line Depleted Hand Cannon 500 kill with a void weapon is literally impossible for me in pvp. my death to kills ratio is so out of proportion that it goes back to 0 count after a pvp.
I would like to request to take out the death penalty so that I can move forward on this quest line.
Thank you for your consideration.

Its 500 points. You get 5 for a kill and -2 for a death
-
Go do the raid, get atheons epilogue. Boom void primary. Have fun
-
Haha your funny. i didnt have anything with void other than a sniper rifle. I still beat it that very same day
-
I too suck at PVP in the crucible my KD ration is like 1 Kill to 8 deaths.

I hear a lot of people saying this part is hard for them, but I assure you it's far from impossible, I have two of them. The first time took me a while because all I had was a fusion rifle, but the second time was much faster since I also had an assault rifle and RPG. My blunt advice to you would be to stop getting killed so much. You only need to consistently do better than a 0.6 KD to eventually get the gun.

You guys really are all noobs. It isnt impossible but doing it their way without Artheons rifle is hard as hell. Especially when everyone has varying degrees of skill and exotic weapons. The easiest way is to grab a fire-team of three and play a rumble. Now you can do this one of two ways. #1: remember the maps. Player with bounty finds a safe location to hide. Players 2,3 run to then and player 1 kills them. This is the less fun and easier way. #2: players 2,3 defend you and all three of you work together to kill the other three random tards who are at an extreme disadvantage. This is much more fun as you basically hunt them down. It will take a little longer but its well worth it. Cmon people dont be average efn George's here. Think outside the box!

Edited by chris mk44: 9/30/2014 1:22:54 AMHi, I just want to help clear something up for you. I'm assuming you're talking about the Thorn exotic bounty, and if that's the case, you're either mistaken or confused about the requirements. You do not need to get 500 KILLS with Void damage, you need to get 500 POINTS. For each kill you get in PVP with Void damage, you get 5 POINTS. With every death you suffer in PvP, you lose 2 POINTS. So in order for you to remain at 0, you must die 3 times for every 1 kill you get. This does not go into the negatives, so you don't lose any progress while dying repeatedly at 0. I suggest using a Void Shotgun and Void Rocket Launcher in combination with your favorite Primary Weapon. If you are a Void Walker or Defender subclass, kills with your Void attacks count as well. Good luck!

I won the Depleted Hand Cannon at level 25 after 3 visits to the hive.. As soon as I was awarded the gun my score count for the gun reverted to 0 kills and the gun was not available. Still shows up in my challenge menu. Whats up with that???

Noob alert.
i Did this in like a couple of hours.
Edited by DjNormal: 9/30/2014 3:22:15 AMI know that lots of people have completed it, but seriously, I get lucky if I have more than a few kills in the crucible (and lots of deaths). Yes, I'm also stuck on this part. I feel fortunate as a warlock, but still. I should probably try to grab a few kills, then hide the rest of the match. Super Good Advice seems to be the only non-Xür PVE exotic. Which was remarkably easy to obtain...

I have a really bad k.d. and finished it. It just takes a long time!
