This is not a hate filled bash of Destiny. It is constructive criticism. When I created my Titan, I looked forward to discovering which playstyle I would develop. I maxed out both subclasses, and I tried to compile a set of legendary armor. It sounds like things are going smooth, but don't be fooled. I'm afraid. I'm afraid that if I use my ultra rare, almost impossible to find ascendant materials on a weapon or armor, I might find something better later. Don't get me wrong. I don't even have enough of them to level my gear as it is. Now think about a player who wants to explore different weapon, class, and armor combinations. I'll be lucky if I just get enough ascendant materials to upgrade the equipment I have by the end of the year. My feedback is this: Ascendant materials need to be way more common. There are too many weapons and armors to explore, to try out, and to start over again to match a different playstyle. I feel that the game has limited me to my first choice, or has made me not even try to max out my first choice for fear that I will get something better later. Since I don't receive enough ascendant materials, I can't change weapons and armor to adjust to a crucible match or to adjust to a strike mission because I only have enough ascendant materials to upgrade one weapon and armor at a time (and that has been a long.......slow........progress) [b]Extoics, strange coins, and motes light are rare enough to keep the best of the best equipment almost unattainable. We don't need Ascendant materials to be just as rare.[/b]
