500 Void Damage kills......on Hunter.....
I was lucky enough to get the Exotic Weapon Bounty for the Hand Cannon "Thorn". But I can't get this void kills bounty. I wouldn't mind if I was doing this on a Warlock or Titan or had a Void shotgun or something. But it's absolutely ridiculous to expect me to be able to get 500 void kill points(100 void damage kills) when I don't have a void subclass(Expecting to pay for that in DLC) and the gunsmith isn't selling ANY void shotguns. I managed to get a Void sniper rifle and Heavy Machine gun but most of my kills come from melee and shotgun.
My K/D isn't bad. That's not the issue. I am just pissed off that the game has failed to provide me with a means to complete this bounty.

1 ReplyPlay Clash and stay back. I finished the bounty with a sniper and machine gun. I didn't get many points using the Voidwalker, so it'll only take you a slight bit more time.

1 ReplyI'm a hunter and had no problem with this. Found a blue void shotty, use invisibility and blink with it and you'll crank that out in an hour. Granted using cheap tactics and a shotgun felt dirty but had to be done!

Camp heavy ammo spwans, use a LMG. Wasn't hard for me on my hunter.

2 RepliesTime to farm for a decent void weapon that you're comfortable. You can also use the time to get legendaries but thats on you.

1 ReplyUmmm Void damage is a gun attribute. It has nothing to do with your subclass. You'll find Void damage weapons in your secondaries and heavy weapons. If you want to get through it quickly, I'd suggest playing in the free for all playlist. I believe that its called Rumble but I'm not sure. The maps are smaller and you'll have a lot of one on ones. PS: When you get to the final part of this bounty you will be on a special strike Xyor the Unwed in the Summoning Pits. You'll need ARC and Fire weapons to get past that. More Hallowed Knights and Wizards than you can count in that one.

Took me a handful of hours with a sniper rifle and a machine gun. I played more passive-assist than I normally do, focusing completely on sniping push points and managing heavy ammo spawns.

1 ReplyHey stupid. Before you post try the bounty out. It's not 500 kills. It's a point system based on void damage. I did it with no fireteam in about 3 hours of crucible.

That's not my problem you don't have a void shotgun. I always carry guns with every type, for enemy shields.

Not because of the DLC thing, but the fact that you didn't bother to keep a weapon of all types in your inventory.

Edited by ThE FAkE JoKeR: 9/29/2014 4:16:30 PMI was lucky to obtain Atheon's epilogue in the normal raid. Its a primary auto rifle and it does void damage with a awesome perk , useful only in raids , that does more damage to oracles.

3 RepliesI had a sniper and a rocket with void. Took some time but was not too bad. Hunter also. Just wait till you get to the strike you have to play if you think that is hard.

4 RepliesI did this using a void sniper on big maps and a green void damage shotgun. It was super easy and as you can see I am no PvP god. Just play it safe and watch your radar a lot. And if you are getting wrecked, just quit, it's worth it not to lose 50+ points of progress.

3 RepliesJust go find a void shotgun or fusion rifle oh my god. Instead of complaining here you could have been looking for engrams. An uncommon void fusion or shotgun is not hard to come by at all. I didn't have one either and it took all of 10 minutes to go get one. Seriously kid?

I have no issue with the terms of the bounty. My K/D is maybe a 1.5 so I'm not bad. I'm just pissed that I have to be at the mercy of the goddamn gunsmith. I've been waiting for a void shotgun for 3 days now.
