Hmmm this is annoying more than anything. I mean, I expected dlc. And dlc doesn't bother me if it's not pay to win or micro transactions. But the evidence seems to strongly point towards cutting content from the main game to sell it later. There's something that just seems wrong about that.
The only counter argument i can see to this is that since destiny does not have a subscription model, they need to have on going income between main game releases in order to support the "evolving world of destiny". I guess the extent to which we see this "evolving world" will determine how annoyed I am by this in the end.
If anything, this is just another lesson that companies have become very good at fueling the ol hype train. Best to wait to see the finished product before purchasing. I won't be pre ordering Destiny 2, that's for sure
