I don't mind of DLC if they bring something new (content) to a game. BUT I understand your point.
DLC should be something the devs are working during/after the release of the game so players can have more content later at some fee (if it's 4h content 15$ is ok).
What you are showing to us is that the supposed DLC is already ready and just locked. (which is wrong because it could have been released at same time)
It is also possible that these DLC have some interesting stuff. " 4-5 missions, 2 strikes(one on earth, one on Mars), 1 raid(on Moon) and 3 crucible maps" is quite a lot for a simple DLC that will be released in December. It's possible that they are still polishing these things or working on the 2nd/3rd DLC.
My point is that it's sad we didn't have the content already done at launch but I prefer having " 4-5 missions, 2 strikes(one on earth, one on Mars), 1 raid(on Moon) and 3 crucible maps" in a DLC than just 1 mission and 1 strike because they don't have time to do more in 3 months or have to wait 6+ months.

The content that's already "on disc" and "locked" is a bunch of empty rooms, one room with an enemy spawner and a bunch of icons for the map. People really need to start thinking for themselves, rather than just picking up the opinions of people with an agenda to grind.

So they should have charged us 75 dollars for the game because the DLC was ready early and they could include it on disc, ready to play day one? It's what they decided was DLC, regardless of when it was ready. CoD producers decide on how many maps will be on the disc and playable, then we have to endure large patches for several DLCs. If they locked it and had it ready Day 1 they would STILL do the same,... Expansion content is extra regardless of when and how you get it.

Edited by Matt la Baguette: 9/29/2014 2:06:45 PMYou're right, it's extra content. But Destiny isn't COD, it's a game that should have content to keep us playing for more than 1 year. So there's some possibilities: - Instead of doing 1 DLC of 1 map and 1 strike, Bungie might prefered to give us few strike/mission/pvp maps and a Raid - They didn't want to give us this stuff in 6-8months because many players will be bored and won't wait for that long. - To keep us playing the game, they'll release interesting DLC every 3-4 months. If you want to compare to other DLC, let's take borderlands 2 that had tons of them. All 10$ but with a "story" done in 2-4h depending on the DLC. Were they fun and complete? only some of them (think of tiny tina one) For now Destiny sells its DLC pack for 30$ (or 15 each) that will have Strikes, missions, new pvp maps, raid. Clearing these only once will take 8h+ and more as we all do pvp/strike/raids more than once. 10h+ gaming for 15$ is ok.
