Dont you think that if a game cost 500 Million to make that they should be able to charge a little more for all the content. People pay $60 for a game that costs 1 Million to make and never complain, but then when people have to spend an extra $30 that cost $500 Million and everyone loses their mind. They do have to make some money people. Also they could have also required a monthly fee on top of paying for the game consindering that they are running all the servers so that we can keep playing this game.
This is like comparing a Corvette and a Ferrari and complaning that you have to pay more for the Ferrari.

Guild Wars 2 is a full fledged MMO that had a lot more content when it released than Destiny did and they do not have a sub. Also, Bungie is the one that decided to make this online only and defend the fact that Destiny is not an MMO. Just a thought.

But how much did it cost to make? It dosent matter how much content there is. If the content that is there cost more money to make then all the content in Guild Wars 2, then they will have to charge more money. Im not defending that this is good or anything just that it is how it is. It's called return on investment.

Dude, your just grasping now. Guild Wars 2 has been out for 2 years now, cost 10 dollars less than Destiny retail, and releases actual new content once or twice a month. New as in actually new stuff not just the illusion of new stuff like Bungie has with the Queen. I dont know for sure, but I doubt they had as much sales as Destiny has during the same time frame. Destiny did not cost 500 million to develop. Im not sure why it matters how much it cost to make said content in the first place. If Company A can make 3 or 4 times as much content as Company B and also spends less money doing it, then something is wrong with Company B. Did you read my entire post... I said Im not defending that this is good. I agree with you on your second paragraph, but Im sure there are some investors that think otherwise. Either way Im not upset paying $90 to play this game this the two expansions. I will get way more hours per dollar with this game and pretty much anything else I do for entertainment. A movie will cost me over $10 to see now and I only get 2 hours of viewing out of that on average.

Yea, I gotcha. I too got the Guardian Edition and got to 28 this past weekend. I am taking a hiatus from the game until the next two DLCs release and then come back to see its current state and what actual content the DLCs provided. Ill make my decision then if I pick up any more DLCs or expansions. But Im with ya, I got my entertainment values worth so I dont regret buying it. I may have actually waited though if I knew what I know now. Hindsight is 20/20. Take care man. I didnt mean to come off as hostile or anything.

The game didn't cost 500million. That rumor was shot down months ago by Bungie; the projected total costs of the series was 500mill but not this game.

That's includes the infrastructure and game engine that was built. Following games utilize this same infrastructure so you only have to pay software costs. The game software itself was probably less than half that.

Not sure. I recall Bungie saying that the series was a 4 parter. So if this game was 250mill I can't see the others being more expensive if the projection comes out to 500mill. It can't have been anywhere close to that high. Not for the Total lack of content.

Destiny is already the most pre-ordered game in gaming history. Pretty sure they don't need more money.

No it is not, it is the most pre ordered new IP. A better title is the most complained about game in the first week of all time and the most loss of player base in the first two weeks of all time lol

Yes and it is also the most exspensive game ever made. Also its not like they get the entire $60 back from the sale of a game. The retailer has to take a cut of that along with some other costs.
