I can't believe that Bungie would do this. This is absolutely unacceptable to release a game incomplete and expect all of us to pay $40 for cut content that will only provide a glimpse to the story, or will not provide any extra story at all and have the Grimoire Cards act as the extra story for the game. We as consumers should expect a full game with what we paid.

Edited by JasonLeeJames: 9/29/2014 4:44:48 AMNot in a multiplayer online game with optional single player. Try playing any old online game and stop at the first 10-20 missions, there you played what you paid for. Most games of this ilk have a subscription fee, would you rather that? You're talking about paying for a full single player experience, this game is not that.

Lol singleplayer isn't synonymous with story.

The singleplayer is hardly optional. You can't even SEE the other planets/moons in the game unless you advance the 'story'. Sure, you have the option of not doing the singleplayer, but then you'd be forever stuck on Earth.

Edited by JasonLeeJames: 9/29/2014 5:07:47 AMOk but there are other people running around, and don't buy ps+ or xbg, guess what all single player game now, this games foundation is multiplayer not story/single player. Sure the content is locked till you playe the story but you can play with strangers or friends, if you have ps+/xbg. People are just mad that halo was sp/mp and this game is mp/sp, sp games are typically one shot deals where you pay, play and move on. This does not follow that model.

I will actually applaud Bungie if it can make Destiny survive on the MP/Crucible aspect of the game.
