I will not be buying the sequel if this is what we can expect from further installments.

It's what we're getting from the current installment.
-
You're an idiot... you need to understand that this is how series work: -First game is a trial, to see how things work and kick off. (Destiny had a huge record breaker worldwide, now they're seeing how it will survive in the long run) -Second game fixes what the first game did not have.... It keeps going like that until they made the system good enough where they can put in the final installment.
-
Ok, well that had nothing to do with the corners cut and the empty title we have now. The game plays great but there's no substance. I understand that the future titles will more than likely improve on things. It doesn't mean we're going to get more content in future installments.
-
Yeah well Destiny expands over time so hush and enjoy the crucible
-
I'm not a huge fan of crucible. I wanted to enjoy hours and hours of new content with my friends. The game as is, is not worth the price tag. I'll give it a fair chance over the next couple months, but if I'm expected to pay an extra 30 dollars for a full game then I'll be pissed.

COD Awaits. Bye Bye.
-
what does that mean?
-
I think many of these PvE nerds just got shot up badly in COD PvP and hate it so much they use it as a crutch to defend Bunghole at every turn. Because if Destiny dies, what PvE FPS games can they play? The irony is they are telling other PvE nerds to go away and play COD. BTW I have never played COD.
-
You don't wanna play COD... hacker heaven basically. You can never win... unless you got hacking skills.
-
Edited by Fresh Pancake: 9/29/2014 1:47:40 AMNevermind, interpreted your post wrong.
-
No, enjoy Borderlands Pre-Sequel. Please. I just get annoyed by the knee-jerk COD hate, even if I have never played it, even when I see the hate on Battlefield forums.
-
I thought you were trying to say there is no other PvE FPS's out there, which is why I said that. And I agree, I don't like many of the new CoD games, but its a pathetic argument used by people who have nothing intelligent to say.
-
and this is why destiny has such a terrible community (for the most part that is) its been barely a month since release! everyone needs to calm down and just wait the content will come, these things take time!
-
Destiny only has a terrible community here on B.Net. Remember, this is a Halo graveyard of angry H3 players. People that are not on the forums are great. Im cursed to return here.
-
You cannot deny that this is a shell of what the game was being hyped to be like. I enjoy what's here but there needs to be more for a series that's supposed to last 10 years
-
And so you shall, Guardian. Each new installment expands the storyline and fixes whatever they couldn't do in the first one. There is so much potential to Destiny franchise... you just need to be patient and let Bungie do their things.
-
i admit they cut corners and it was hyped up bigger than it shouldve done, but so what? COD is hyped to the -blam!-ing moon and back each year and yet people still buy it? what hell humanity did we lose all sense of understanding? if everyone was just a little bit more patient there wouldnt be problems like this. but as you all know bungie are periodically releasing events and FREE CONTENT updates and this still isnt enough for some people? clearly not. it will be alot easy if all the haters and whiners just get rid of the game then maybe everyone can start enjoying destiny without all this bullshit.
-
Let's be honest, COD is the same shit every year... -Boring campain -Worthless special gamemode -Same old multiplayer nothing ever comes new... with COD...
-
Really? A terrible community? Im sorry but the fact that they had 5 years of development on this proves they had PLENTY of time to get their sh*t straight.
-
Those 5 years, was actually designing the game worlds and making it look good. The missions and content, can be done within hours.
-
Edited by F3nix13: 9/29/2014 2:14:52 PMThat is so completely wrong. They had to have time to create the make the story to tell us what all is going on, write the scripts for all the voice actors, get the actors, record them and put all that together. That CANNOT take "hours". Just brainstorming alone on the actual story would take them weeks if not months. And getting the voice actors would definitely take months.
-
So out of 5 years, according to you they had like.... ONE WHOLE WORK WEEK devoted to working on the story. There are two possible outcomes to that scenario. Either Bungie sucks and doesn't care about the story or you are pulling things from your ass. It actually might be both.
-
Edited by JokeStain: 9/29/2014 12:32:02 AMwith 3 or 4 of head develpers leaving, activision sticking their nosing in where it dont belong i.e focusing attention to marketing rather than game develpment, yeah you keep thinking that kiddo.
-
Regardless of that, they still had 5 years of development and were given a budget of $500 million. Dont try to sell us this horsesh*t sob story of "well these people left and these people interfered". COD went through the same damn thing with West and Zampella being fired unceremoniously and a lot of people left IW to go work with Respawn Entertainment. Even through all that not only did IW pull through but both West and Zampella pulled through giving the gaming community not only Titanfall from RE but also MW3 from IW. So take your attempt at making us feel sorry somewhere else.
-
You are aware only $100m of that budget was use for the actual game, the rest activision blew it all on marketing
