No different than any other game these days.
Nothing to see here. Move along.

Doesn't make it right
-
Edited by McCREE: 9/28/2014 10:00:45 PMIt also doesn't make it worthy of a thread. It's a common practice. An industry standard. Not unusual in any way whatsoever. Why even post about it?

Looking at the replies and plenty of upset people I think it does.
-
Because people just want to hate on Bungie and Destiny. Every modern game has done this and every gamer today has played a game that had locked content on disc. The difference is? Hating those games weren't the cool thing to do.
-
No, it's about fighting what is wrong. Stop accepting it and actually fight against this cheapness.
-
As I have said before to another person; if you don't like this, quit gaming. Every game you get in the future, will have content locked on disc. It's not greed. It's there for internal testing and checking compatibility with retail versions.
-
It's greed.
-
Keep thinking that. I can tell you have no idea what actually goes on inside of a gaming studio, and have never tested a game before. No, I don't mean "Preorder and gain beta access" I'm talking about developers sending you an unmarked disc with a legit beta on it. Speaking directly to the developers on in-game issues and bugs, and not just leaving feedback on a forum.

Shill alert! Shill alert! People like you are killing gaming
-
No, people who have no idea how internal testing works and cry about everything are the ones killing gaming.
