Queen's gear nearly impossible to get?
Hi all!
My understanding is that the Queen's Wrath event only lasts until Oct 6th, at which point the Queen bounties and vendor both disappear. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Now, assuming that is the case, how is it possible to rank up enough to be able to buy the Queen gear - armour and weapons? I mean this from a time point of view. As far as I know the Queen bounties are the only way to curry favour. Now, since I suck at PvP currently I can only get the non-PvP bounties, once per day, clocking in at around 250-300 favour per day (don't remember the Archon bounty reward which I just did so can't double check). Meaning I need 10 days approx to reach rank 2 (have 400 out of 3000 at rank 1 currently).
So it'll *really* come down to the wire for me given the deadline. I hope this only goes away after Oct 6th, since otherwise I'm screwed.
My question is: did I miss anything? Any other way of getting Queen's favour? It doesn't seem that the Queen story missions give any favour.
Since I can't imagine getting 20 scout or sniper headshots in the Crucible right now for the Queen Crucible bounties, do people have suggestions regarding this? Any particular Crucible modes that make these bounties easier in particular?
As a diehard monarchist I really want that Queen's Titan Mark and AR!! :P Thanks for any suggestions!!

Of course the vendor has crappy weapons. You gotta earn the good weapons from the Kill Orders ;) If this event comes back it will probably have a new rotation of armor and weapons to obtain. I played all my Kill Orders solo and eventually received The Supremacy sniper rifle which I have to say is quite OP for a legendary. Probably a really close competitor with the exotic Patience and Time sniper rifle.

9 RepliesUm what do you see beneficial about the queens gear and or weapons and emblems. The only thing I see people might want are the shaders. The weapons suck and what's so great about emblems anyway

It'll come back again in the future and you'll keep your rep. Right now I don' even know if you'll be able to hit rank 3 before the event ends with 5 bounties a day. I've done them all so far, except the the ones of kills with class items, and am about rank 1 1/2.

There's also the fact that she will come back eventually and you will probably keep your rep.

2 RepliesEdited by ViralEnsign: 9/28/2014 9:07:05 PMBasically its this. I got my Shader and Icon by Friday evening. I now have a 20% bonus to Rep Gains for the Queen. If I continue to completed 3-4 bounties a day roughly gaining 400 rep per day. Today's rep gains alone offering about 500 rep alone today + 100 for my bonuses puts me at over 1000 of 1500 rep after two days. You only need rank 2 for the weapons but assuming you completed all bounties or just most of them you should be able to hit rank 3. As for the crucible its not as hard as you think to get the 20 head shots with the Scout Rifle as the rounds seem to be....... hitscan more or less. Try doing the 3v3 skirmish or look to your Scout Rifle on more open maps like Venus. I was able to rack up massive kill counts at B point on my defender.

The marks are the only things that are kinda near the vendor weapons are just awful
