Looks like somebody had his game freak out and show him a bunch of unreleased content, including stuff from the upcoming expansions. He can't play anything, but the names and descriptions of story mission, strikes, and raids - yes, raids - were visible from his Destinations map.
Many people are crying foul play over the dlc, but it is very likely that the content he found is placeholder info for actual content to be added later. Often developers add beginning elements of planned dlc to the vanilla release to make the download easier, even if the content itself is unfinished. We'll have to see the size of the expansion download files are and wait till someone data-mines them to know whether we're being Capcom'd.
I've left out any specifics for spoiler reasons, but you can easily find the information over on reddit if the madness takes you. I've read an overview, and it looks promising. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go hunt down his video before it's gone for good.

Edited by BritherDom: 9/28/2014 7:38:51 PMHaha! Nice! I'm sure they had some idea of where the DLC would go and as such had idle hands (that ol' grey button in the top left of Age of Empires) shift to begin work on it a long time ago. The important thing about DLC is that it's a response to the player base. They may have had a prepared response ready to be tweaked and modified before submitting it to the wild. The fact is there can be no foul play because the buyers demand content to be held back so it can later be released in a 'season' format. It extends the life of the game and keeps the servers pulsating for a long space of time. I'd rather see the market shift to a slower consumption on content (ie. enjoy the grind and moment to moment gameplay) but, by-in-large, the American (perhaps 'World') market never stops to enjoy what it has but only what is on the horizon. "There shall be no flower sniffing and leisurely strolls!!! ONLY MADNESS AND FLAMING!!!" ;P
