As far as I know there is almost no use in gear other than rares or legendary when you reach level 20 other than the materials you get for dismantling it. It would be convenient to have an option to automatically dismantle certain gear when picked up. Rather than it saying you picked up some uncommon gauntlets for example, it'd say you picked up plasteel plating (if you're a Titan, for example) Original idea by CynicalCyanide.
