really sorry to waste your time Master, but I am OK now. It was a console issue caused by the unstable network / patches etc it has been having to deal with . I ended up fixing my "vulture" error but pulling the power lead out of the back of the console and cold starting it. This re booting of the system has got everything back in sync. Maybe something for other "vulture" affected customers to try......
