Disappointed as fck, this 'legendary' auto rifle that I earned which also costed 150 vanguard marks is complete garbage, so a tip for everyone, DO NOT BUY DOCTOR NOPE!

I made the same mistake bud. Took me 2 weeks to get another 150 do to the freekin weekly cap BUT in the end I got "Shadow Price" and LOVE this gun. You just cant go wrong with Shadow Price as a primary weapon. It's Legendary so you still can eqip a Exotic Special or Heavy.

Bullet hose.

If you have 23 coins you can buy the Suros regime which is pretty much the best auto rifle in the game.
-
Try the Hex Caster ARC... It's shitty as -blam!-

Edited by DEZARATH: 11/1/2014 2:56:17 PMAt first I thought so to. I even handed it off to my Hunter so I could concentrate on my Shadow Price. Then I'd leveled it. For some reason it worked with my Hunter. The damn thing started wrecking everything thrown at it. Some of the harder Ai, yeah you have mow them down with a clip and a half. But the Bosses. It just chews the faces off the bosses. With my Hunter build I'm pushing like 740 rounds and it is a mini gun on suppressive fire and assists. Short bursts do pin point damage. The biggest hurdle is the upward recoil. But once you get used to it, it's a great gun. I'd still get both it and the Shadowprice. Trust me I can understand the this gun sucks, but after a bit I found it wiped away my buyer's remorse.

My favorite response when I got it from a drop,"but it has 72 bullets" and it takes all 72 to lay down a vandal.
-
It's a very good gun if you stack the stability perks and get used to it
-
Once it's upgraded with stability perks it gets better. Still not great in pvp however. But in PvE the extra rounds keep your target flinching, and 72 rounds in the mag can make keeping your enemy's shields down easier if you pace your shots.

Got it from the postmaster. I already have atheons epilogue so it was dismantled.
-
I like Dr.nope just got it last night
-
"Doctor Nope" the clue is in the name, it's a nope gun. Will I ever buy it again? nope. Will I dismantle it again? Yep.. wait, missing a 'Nope' :( but yah
-
I really dislike the low impact high fire auto rifles...Got Doctor Nope out of an engram though
-
Impact = damage in non-iron banner Crucible matches. So yea, low impact high rate of fire auto rifles are generally going to be inferior to higher impact lower rate of fire auto rifles. Only exception to this rule is if you have fantastic accuracy.
