Correct me if I'm wrong, but this game seems perfect for some old fashioned firefight, like in Halo: ODST or Reach. I think a firefight game mode where every wave you get by you get a reward, steadily more and more powerful as you go, and ever five or ten waves you get a boss, like the Devil Walkers, or the Goliath Tank, or something new. What does everyone else think?

The only issue would be how to handle loot and xp.I would play with no promise of either but some will complain if it gives too much or too little. finding a balanced way to reward players for putting so much time in will be a challenge. Im thinking higher tier drops after every exponentially difficult wave completed.
