We are investigating and are finding some strange results. If you are seeing issues that appear to be related to yesterday's even, please do reply and let us know. That said, a number of the problems being reported in this thread are not related. Keep an eye on @BungieHelp and help.bungie.net for updates. [b]UPDATE:[/b] We are actively investigating this issue, but the fix may require us to target impacted accounts directly. Please supply your information in the thread linked here - http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/70653476 [b]If you have already posted in this thread,[/b] you should already be tracked in our list of accounts to verify. [from the thread linked in this post] [b]UPDATE [9/27]: [/b]The fix we are applying is to solve for players that can't get past the start screen to character select without hitting CENTIPEDE. This fix will not help those that are already playing and get disconnected with CENTIPEDE errors. We have applied the fix to the majority of the reported accounts, and there is a good chance you can now play. Please test your account and reply to your post here to let us know if it worked! It is especially helpful for us to hear if our fix is allowing you to play. If you are still having problems please be patient as we apply the fix to all impacted accounts.

  • Everytime I try to access my character it keeps giving me the same error message over and over again, which is centipede. Please could you fix this, My Account - A55A55INELITE92.

    MY ACCOUNT IS NOT FIXED[XBOX360]!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was one of the first to respond to this post and MY ACCOUNT IS STILL NOT FIXED. GLAD YOU FIXED SOME ACCOUNTS 9 HOURS AGO AND IGNORE MINE. It kicked me off 4/25 around 4:25 PM CST. and I've not been able to log in since. Around 3:30 it kicked me off and I logged back in to notice everything I had just done had been reset. My profile says unable to load character When I try and Log in I hit A it does not log me in it just says check your network I can play just fine using another account. If I cannot play soon on my account for XBOX 360 l CrAzyrAge l I will never purchase a Bungie or Activision game again.

    I played yesterday, and I got some random disconnects (annoying, specially when I was finishing nexus level 26). So I stopped. Then I've played again this morning (11:00, Central Europe time). All seemed to work ok. But right now, when I login to Destiny it says I'm not subscribed to PSN. I can't access chats, strikes, etc. So I can't play. I just checked my PSN subscription and works fine. It is alive and working fine with other games (BF4, PStore, chat, etc.). So everything works with my PSN account, except Destiny. Now I'm doing an exotic hunt. Pretty exciting, actually. I'm just 22 Strikes away to get the code, then show it to Xur. I do NOT want to wait until next week because of a clear server-side issue. Specially when it's so freakin' hard to get good equipment in this game. [b]Please fix this now! [/b] PSNID: saulgascon

  • I still haven't been able to get past the splash screen without it giving me a centipede error. I'm going on day 3 now of not being able to log in. The game had no issues for me when I bought it at launch and now suddenly you're telling us that it could be OUR connections and all we get is a link to the centipede help error page in most cases... This is getting real old real fast Bungie.

    Bungie! It's been almost two days since I can't log in into my main character. I've been posting on every forum about the centipede error but you seem to do nothing about my problem. When I try to choose my main character (Warlock lv. 16), I'm always kicked out and the centipede error is displayed. However if I start a new character I can perfectly play. The first time this happened was after the hotfix on September 26 around 16:00 Mexico time. I had some engrams which I decided and then I was kicked out, when I logged back in, I had the engram again. A few minutes after I was kicked out once more and since then I haven't been able to log in. When I log in on the bungie app or at bungie.net I can't see my characters and it even says "this account hasn't played Destiny". But when I look out my profile while not logged in or logged in as someone else my character shows up on the search. I play the digital edition of Destiny on Xbox One, my gamer tag is "Ingothold S". I hope you can fix this soon. Thanks.

  • I'm still having the same problem as yesterday I can't connect to the destiny servers and when I go to bungie.net I can't see my characters. When I go on a different account it let's me log in just fine.

  • Saw your update, and wanted to let you know I'm still having the centipede issue on my Titan. Some more information: I play on PS4 with PSN ID pdepratt, and on Thursday when I decrypted a legendary class item into some legendary warlock band (or hunter cape I don't remember which anymore) I dismantled it and went back to orbit. I got booted and when I got back on the legendary class item engram was back in my inventory, then I couldn't log on anymore after I got booted again.This happened at about 1630 central time on Thursday. Thanks for looking into this.

  • Still broken, i have posted in the help forums and got no response. dont seem to be getting anywhere with this, getting extremely frustrated feel like we have just been forgot about... its not good enough. i am going to give it 1 more day then i will be asking for a full refund.

  • Xbox One: RoomNoodles Centipede error I cannot log in. I Was playing fine a few days ago and decided to start up a new character. After swapping some items in the vault I started to get the centipede error when trying to log on one character. Eventually I got it on both and now I cannot even make it to character select.

    I am also currently experiencing this issue. After several strikes yesterday, I went on patrol with a fireteam and BAM, suddenly I was gone and experiencing the same centipede errors as others here. Just tried the Septimus strike 10 minutes back and was also booted back to nowhere land. Legend shows me incorrectly as well, though it does show my attained items from yesterday. I also did some bounties and such. Hope you can help. It sucks getting booted every 2 minutes. Account name: BrandiKelly Console: PS3 / PS4.

  • Still not connecting after log in screen now the app won't load my profile and says I've never even played destiny. I've been playing and using the app since launch no problem until last night. Please fix this, I really don't want to take this to Gamestop but I might while it's trade in value is $38. Poppamurph78 on PS4 4131760

Thanks in advance.[/quote] I completed the nexus mission, went back to the tower and it was empty. No players no npc's after about a minute everything came back. But it said I hadn't competed the bounty (while My friend a played through the Strike with was fine) Tell you what, if you can see your way to a legendary sniper rifle or epic armour piece for a hunter we'll call It quits :) Ps great game guys
