So if you didn't know, today Bungie released a mandatory patch. Here is what changed. Beware, none of it was good.

The Hive of the holy “Treasure Cave” have realized the futility of their endless assault on Skywatch and have retired to lick their wounds and plan their next attack.
Respawn timers for monster caves in Skywatch have been normalized to 40 seconds (increased from 6)
Respawn timers for monster caves in Forgotten Shore have been normalized to 40 seconds (increased from 10)
Respawn timers for monster caves in Ember Caves have been normalized to 40 seconds (increased from 10)
Respawn timers for monster caves in the Shattered Coast have been normalized to 40 seconds (increased from 10)
Respawn timers for monster caves in the Barrens have been normalized to 40 seconds (increased from 20)
Essentially they killed farming for engrams at caves, this was expected and we understand why. But taking away the ability to make Ascendant materials on Queen's Wrath missions?! There is now no reason to do any of the queen missions or bounties. Because the emissary doesn't have anything worth while for most characters after a certain level. Also you usually get the same armor over and over, after a certain point there is nothing you can do with it since they give you armor based on your class and you can't keep it in your vault for another character down the line. It's not like they were easy to get either the mission level may be 24, but the bonuses that the enemies get make even a level 29 play cautiously. So the rewards at the end were satisfying. taking away this ability to dismantle your legendary armor reward into ascendant shards was not necessary. And actually took the fun out of playing any of the Queen's Wrath or doing the bounties. Because in order to obtain the story missions, you had to complete the bounties. For every bounty you completed that's how many times you could do the story missions. But this is my personal gripe. I'm curious to know what everyone else thinks about this.

I'm glad they did this. At the rate everyone was going, half the damn playerbase would have been level 29 by the end of the weekend.
