In a town not so far away, there is a house not so small.
Near that house, a monster calls.
In that house, there is a boy named James, James has heard the call.
The monster's call.
The monster says "Hello James, how have you been?" As James tries to sleep, he hears the call.
That mysterious monster's call.
James says, "I don't like you monster, go away please" The monster says "But James, you've been as busy as a bee."
"Open the door when you hear my call"
James waits and sleeps, but he hears a call, the monster's call.
"Go away monster! I don't want to see you now!"
The door opens, James once again hears the monster's call.
James runs up against the wall.
But you cannot hide from the Monster's call.
What did you think? :D

And now I will be up at 1:39Am scared shitless thinking "What if I'm James and my perspective of life is a lie? What if the only monster here is me?" And other crazy things

Hmm... I feel like it is a metaphor for growing up... or maybe getting drafted and being forced into the army...
I'm gonna go with my first guess
Edited by Masque of Night: 9/26/2014 1:43:46 AMIt's not bad, but i'm not very fond about how disproportionate the lines are from one another at times. It just throws the piece off in my opinion, but that's just a matter of personal preference. My apologies if I sound like a critic, but i'm only as honest as i'd like people to be with me about my own work.

This is LITTERALLY one of the stories you would find on that show the haunting hour. It's a show by R L Stine And literally every episode ends with a cliffhanger or with an ending similar to yours. Its actually pretty cool man IGN CALLS IT:REPETITIVE PERFECTION 10/10
