Im glad they took trading away.
It just causes more problems then it would solve. I would however support Diablo style loot exchange.

NO. Unless Bungie heavily restricts what can and cannot be placed. And with very limited price choices. Certain rarer Rare/Legendaries will be unable to go on the Auction House. Uncommons can only be bought at level 12+ from AH. Commons from level 7+. Rares at 17+. Legendaries at 26+. No materials or resources or bounties or rewards (if very hard to find, as in, rewards) nor vehicles/jumpships are allowed on the AH. Prices limited depending on item. Examples: Common > Starter weapon > 25 to 150 Glimmer. Uncommon > Weapon, hand cannon, level 12 > 250 to 500 Glimmer. Rare > Shader > 700 to 3000 Glimmer. Legendary > Shader > 1000 to 5000 Glimmer. Exotic (only available if it's a Mark/Cloak/Bond/Shader/Emblem, if anything that actually effects gameplay to a big degree, then it would not be able to place up, with the error message 'Item too powerful to contain. Please put up something less dangerous.' or something akin to) > 5000 to 10,000 Glimmer, but this shouldn't be available on AH at all to prevent Diablo 3 Auction House incident replication which will have to be dealt with [CABAL_PROBLEM76F].

Never going to happen. It will be trading among friends who got the gear at the same time or not at all.
