The few changes I would like to see in Destiny are as follows:
Hot Key D-Pad
1. I like dancing, waving and having a seat but the use of pointing is undervalued. My suggestion is to allow a mark system to improve coordination
2. All of the emotes could be brought up using one direction pad direction then using up/down left/right to cycle through. This would allow marking and even a synthesis Hot bar. Since there is a cool down it wouldn't be that greatly effected. Add a long timer to instigate it, making up for having to go to another screen.
Trades. This is only a suggestion.
1. Limit trades per week with only being allowed to trade other class items for same class items of equal rarity. Wiping all upgrades upon trade. This would allow those who play together and are not interested in starting other classes to swap specific gear once a week for other gear that could help their friends. I understand the abuse that could ensue so extreme limitations should be placed.
Upgrade/Level Up indicators removing HP/Shield bar
1. This needs to be changed soon. Being in a firefight and upgrading my level does not weigh out the scenario of knowing your hp or shield situation.
Other than these few things I can think of this game is brilliant. The combination of FPS/RPG/MMO is genius and outmatched. Skill, progression and cooperation are more prevalent in this game than others in similar genres. If none of these changes are implemented or even considered I will still love and play this game forever.
P.S. : Please make Bad JuJu become "Badass JuJu" the gun we all know it can be.
