These patches... all these patches... it's making the game not even worth playing anymore. I understand the need to earn what we need... but come on. Pushing all of this BS on the consumer is terrible. Why not actually patch things in a positive light rather than say hurr durr 5 people complaining better nerf dat or remove that. To be honest its sad, we were given all of these great expectations of destiny but all I'm getting is disappointment.
-
Because of all the little jealous bitches bitching about the farming and all the op weapons because they suck at pvp and keep getting killed
-
O Well The Division is coming out at the beginning of next year. Good bye Destiny.
-
Really struggling to get anything
-
Have they decreased engram drops?
-
Not enough content and character levels.
-
Its simple Why the loot cave was nerfed, why the Queens legendary items no longer provide ascendant shards. And why the vanguard and crucible have a weekly cap. It's quite simple really Slow everything down.. Why you ask? Because bungie is terrified that people will figure out that there is no content to this "stripped to the bones so we can sell as dlc later game" that they hide it behind having to grind hour after hour week after week to level up practically everything..
-
At least when Ever Quest slowed leveling down to glacial speeds they told you that they were doing that and why, which was "we need to hold you back while our content update catches up to you. You all played this WAY faster than we anticipated." And this was like in 2000 and after that they had it down to a science. Its 2014 and apparently that is the wheel that Bungie feels they have to reinvent.
-
I believe that they really have no idea what to do now. They're still shocked over how bad the game did critically and how their are so many complainers.
-
I've barely noticed the patches, minus the one that removed the treasure cave. Stop whining and enjoy the game.
-
I mean I understand removing the loot cave, that's good and all but... for people actually working for engrams just to have the rate dropped. Nope, all of my nope. Not to mention they are trying to "balance" pvp because there are people whining about it constantly. Excuse me but this is not CoD, you actually have to focus down a shield just to get the chance at a kill... Destiny is getting mediocre review scores for a reason, bungie is running the game into the ground atm.
-
What you guys have to realize is when they nerf ed the cave the raised the whole games spawn timers from 6 sec to 40, meaning you won't be able to farm anywhere in addition to that they made it where loot drops decrease the more you die meaning no doing hard missions over and over. Essentially I no longer see a point to this game. It's all wave attacks and they just nerfed the waves and the rewards
-
I feel that all these changes were considered long before we got the game. Hotfixes and patches are not done lightly. They cost the company time and money. Besides most of the time reading the fix list can sound worst then it is. Most of the time in other games the changes go unnoticed. (Besides no shards from queen's wrath. That's just, no comment). Everything will work out in the end. Just sit tight and enjoy the ride if you can. If you can't then get off at the next stop.
-
stupid is as stupid does? I really have no answer. I didn't think any company save EA could sucker punch themselves in the face like that.
-
Clearly bungie is going what they think is positive improvement. they wouldn't make a change only 5 people wanted. I'm not gonna say all the patches are perfect, but, to me, it seems like the patches are moving towards what I think is the right direction.
-
Because it's dull it'll hurt more
-
Maybe because craptivision told them to so they can implement micro transactions?
-
I just wish Bungie would look at the cause of these things rather than to straight forward nerf something because too many people were containing.
-
They just -blam!-ed the entire loot system for farming without fixing the low loot acquisition by other means. Economy exploit? WHAT ECONOMY?! We can't trade items or even auction them. Activision is doing to Destiny what they did to ruin Diablo 3 at launch. This whole "-blam!- them! Lower it all to make them play more! " mentality is ruining this game. They lowered drops and spawns, but didn't increase what they claim they will yet. It's one big "-blam!- you! We know how you should have fun!!!!!!!" all over again. Activision made Blizzard do this over and overt again. They also needed every thing to shit instead of buffing things. I can almost promise you we will see nerf after nerf after nerf until everything is terrible. It's the Activision way. Hopefully when their contracted time ends Bungie will pull their heads from their ass like Blizzard did with lost 2.0 on Diablo 3.
-
Honestly dcuo was a better game and it was free. At least you could buy good stuff from other players in auctions
-
Exactly
-
Slowly? We're in week 2 and I'm choosing between Netflix's Green Arrow Binge, Warframe download, or a strike mission just to see how bad this really is.
-
Agreed!
-
Agreed
-
The only bad thing they fixed was the queens armor shards. I didn't dream of spamming a cave when i first saw destiny vids sorry. Im bummed at the loss but not jaded.
-
Sorry, but all i saw was positive nerfs and changes. Thing like the Queens Wrath was already broken and crap to begin with, no shards from the items just show it better for some people now i guess. Whats funny is the changes to the guns. Bungie has had this game long enough and didn't find the problems. The one that I disagree with is Shotgun range being changed, but i can understand it somewhat. Nobody is going to use a Shotgun if it gets its ranged cut to a point that is pointless (basically having to be 3 feet in front of people). Shotgun changes need to be handled with great care. The big thing is Fusion Rifles, which 1 shot seemingly too easy and from ranges. Really tho, its all unbalanced and needs to be reworked, but fk going into opinion about all that here.
-
They're ruining the game by decreasing engram drops, killing farming spots, nerfing auto rifles and trying to "balance" the crucible even more.
