Strange coins..
Any one else looking forward to the mystery seller this weekend? .. If so, tell us how many coins you've got... And how did you get them? .. Looking forward to seeing you all adorning your new gear!

2 RepliesBought the exotic auto rifle today. 23 coins! Bit steep but ive been stuck on a blue scout rifle for too long now. The kicker is ive been trying to complete an exotic bounty and just before I paid up my coins i finished the 25 strikes only to be told ive gotta now kill 10,000 guardians in the crucible. I never play pvp, bungie, you make my balls ache...

At first I was disappointed to only receive 3 strange coins as the reward but the other guys pointed out that the vendor was in the tower already and armour was 13 coins ... well, those 3 brought me up to 13: perfect! I now have an Exotic Helmet (stop smirking at the back ...) - the only Warlock armour he had - which was just fate really as it was my weakest previous armour part (in terms of Light) and I don't like the look of any of the Legendary Helmets (I said STOP ...) Hello, Level 24 ... once I get vanguard rep 2 and can buy some Legendary Gauntlets or Chest armour I should hit Lvl 25 and 1000 defence. :)

I currently have 24 Strange coins and 21 Motes of Light and yep I'm looking forwards to his arrival. I'm hoping that he might stock some of the other Exotic weapons in the game. I really like the look of the Icebreaker sniper rifle. Watched someone use it in that record Vault of Glass raid video and it was one shotting stuff that my sniper was having to two/three shot. It will really come in handy for the Templar bit.

2 Repliesthe last time i looked at what he had nothing looked particularly interesting. i think i have enough for a purchase now though (14 or 15 coins) so i may just buy something for the sake of saying i have an exotic ....
