I have 5 auto rifles right now. 3 blues and 2 green. 2 rares and my Shingen-C (green) are fully upgraded. Even though the Shingen has the lowest rating of them all, and is only a green, I feel it's significantly more efficient in PvP.
What gun stats should I look at when choosing a gun for PvP that will give a more accurate take on what its performance will be?

I can't equip it right now because it's in the vault but the best auto rifle I have found other then the Suros Regime is the Surrenderer with the Focus Fire perk and Snapshot. The gun hits for 36 crits one less then Suros Regime, but with the snapshot it aims so fast that I don't mind the smaller mag @23. I know that all guns have different stats and that they are random but when I got that from a crucible match I was more excited then when I got my Regime. The Painted Suros also can have the same perk called Focus Fire and works good as well but has a smaller mag.

Since all weapons are averaged out a green weapon will be doing the same damage as an exotic until the Iron Banner comes out, usually though I go for the Shingen-E it has an incredible fire rate and is very stable, pull 20+ kills every game easily.

Vanquisher from NM. Easy headshots.

Edited by Aftrshoq: 9/24/2014 4:46:18 PMStabilty, magazine size and rate of fire . If it's to fast like the Dead Orbit one you will miss some critical shots which results in dead but if it's to slow you'll have a disadvantage at close quarters. I personally like the Silvered Hushwind-D the most. It's good at close/mid range and the magazine size is respectable. Shingen-C and/or E are great AR's too. But.. If you really want the best, the Suros Regime is the one to grind for. The ability to slowdown rate with more damage while RDS'ing is awesome for Mid/Long range and if in close range you just hipfire with an increased rate of fire. :)

I have the blue Silver Hushwind-D and blue Galahad-E but I've felt my green Shingen-C has been more effective. It's been a week since I've tried them though so I'll have to givem a try again. I also haven't tried my green Cydonia yet.

The best way to effectively kill in crucible is ... Step 1 - remove auto rifle Step 2 - equip hand cannon Step 3 - shoot guardians in the face Works a treat.

Holy crud, an intelligent conversation. I am going stay on this thread and just breath for a moment.
