Let me just start by saying I have been looking forward to this game the release of the demo e3 2013. I still love this game and have a great time with it but most people don't think that. To make sure people stay interested you NEED to do these things. First you have make the DLCs cheaper if not free because most people don't want to pay again for the full story. Also, you have to fix the loot system because the random loot drops just don't work. Instead make those who did the best in the multiplayer matches or strikes get better gear and also the engrams must give loot that is the same color. That way nobody is obsessing and complaining about that. Not to mention level design. There needs to be some differences in the missions. You need some extractions, escorts, search and destroy, maybe a stealth mission! Something to make it feel fresh and new. If you guys don't do this, everyone will lose interest in not only Destiny but Bungie as a whole. The next game you release will do terribly unless you fix your mistakes on this and fast.
