So, I've recently discovered that there is a bit of a cover mechanic in Destiny, and I haven't heard anyone talk about it. Basically if you crouch behind a short wall and aim at the lip pressing the aim trigger will have your guardian look up over the lip. Releasing the trigger puts you safely back being cover. The height of walls this works on is finicky. I've had the best luck in the Venus strike with the giant hydra boss in the nexus. The lower level of the ring has a few places this works. Has anyone else noticed this?? I think it's awesome (as a squishy hunter), but wish it was a bit more reliable/worked on corners too. It seems finicky at best. Hardly as reliable as the rest of the tight controls.
