Rare/Legendary Ships?
Where can I get a rarer ship? I've never seen any ship blueprints or anything drop. Do they even exist?

Clan mates got rare ships from opening chests on the moon and the npc that sells ships has had rare ships in stock that cost close 5k glimmer.

4 RepliesLoot chests. Especially on Mars. I found two Rare ship designs. Both were from loot chests while patrolling in the Vex-controlled areas of Mars.

I got 2 from patrol 1 on moon and 1 on venus, both rare. oh actually 3 1 on earth reg. Patrols that you hear the voice of the shipwright lady are your best bet. looking for relics.

I got a blueprint from one of the gold chests, try looking for them if you haven't done so already. I got a rare ship called fang of nyx or some crap.

Yeah in chests, found one for the g/f's toon on cosmodrome patrol

1 ReplyWell you have to ask yourself: "Who cares?" I have a rare ship and it's nothing but a fancy hat. And rarely have I seen someone else's ship and said, "wow.. I really need one of those" Even the sparrows.. does it really matter to upgrade to better speed or damage resistance? Until sparrow races are implemented, I say no.

Site is just starting but check http://www.destinydb.com/, it seems there's even an exotic ship out there, though there isn't much info on the ships yet but it will come in the future :)

The rare ship I have was from a chest on the mooooooooooooooooooooon.

I've gotten 4 rare ships, all from chests. I'm not a big fan of any of them, though. Caught the ship vendor at the right time and bought a black LRV 2 Javelin, which in my opinion is the coolest looking ship in the game. I haven't seen many of the legendaries, though, so maybe there's something out there cooler.

I've gotten 3 from randoms chests, and 2 for handing in bounties. Their rare but can't wait for a legendary. My question is are their any Exotic ships!!
