I've knocked my self out a few good times with it when I'm moving too fast and it scatters all over my face... but I find it useful for PvE, however, i normally go for the vortex grenades in PvP.

I use the standard vortex grenade and it helps with blocking off a hall or area when securing a flag i also get postmortem medals easily and that's good because I can finish 1of the bounties a lot fast (earn 5 postmortem medals)

I tried it a few times, I mean, if you get a good bounce into a group it's good. Over all tho, the seeker grenades are much better, require less effort. For someone who gets a thrill out of that perfect toss, a seeker grenade may seem like cheating, lol, probably is. I got fed up with scatter tho, when the battles are such a meat grinder that using a scatter grenade just means you'll die to the guys using a seeker. It's a matter of choice I guess. I just want to toss and move on. If everyone had to use scatter, then I would and be happy. right now, I use Axion and Firebolt grenades
