You may already be aware of this, but I thought I would throw it out there. Whenever you turn in a bounty, the XP goes to whatever you have equipped. So if you just received new gear that you want to unlock the enhancements on or if you are looking to level up your other subclass, equip it before you go talk to the bounty bot.
