Every time I try to launch destiny, if I am lucky I manage to get past the opening sequence and to the point where you need to find a weapon. Haven't even made a kill yet because every time a new part of the game loads it either says "you must be connected to xbox live to play this" or "There was a problem with your internet connection, error code:Baboon". My internet speed it 6.85up and 38 down, which isn't by any means super fast, but also isn't by any means slow either. I've been a loyal fan of bungie since the release of Halo 2 but I am quite fed up with all the hoops I've had to jump though to play this game. I've had the game since 9/14 and here we are 9/18 and only about two minutes of overall gameplay achieved before I receive the baboon error code again. Has anybody else experienced problems with this? Bungie seriously needs to get their head out of their ass on this one and fix it now.

I'm sick to death. I'm about to lob this game out the window. Been playing ps4 online for a while. This is the only game with a problem. What a load of tripe. They should seriously be ashamed of themselves.

My xbox is on DMZ. no problems with live. don't understand what the problem is.

My buddy has this problem, too. Turns out his router is crap. Make sure your gear is operating appropriately and your NAT is set to open. You shouldn't have a problem at that point. Beyond that, it's either an error with the download, the disc or a corruption somewhere in the software. If your hardware is setup appropriately, try deleting and re-downloading the game. You may have gotten a faulty game disc.

I've also been having this problem...I'm assuming that you've reset your internet connection, etc. etc., I found this to be helpful the other day. For some reason my Router switches to a moderate NAT at times, but if I reset the router, it usually goes back to an open NAT. Make sure that your NAT (Network Address Translator) isn't moderate or strict. If it's not that, then it's Bungie's fault.

Didn't you know bungie hired a bunch of baboons to sit behind a curtain and smash buttons with mallets? This is also how the reward system is setup.
