I must ask, why do you think Destiny is a good game?
In my opinion what it only got right is the shooting mechanics. They're smooth and feel very fluid.
Everything is just very dull and boring.
Strikes are repetitive and bosses are just bullet sponges. Bungie have never been good at making bosses... I look at you Tartarus and 343 Guilty Spark. >.>
The planets are small and don't have much re-explorebility. When you have gotten the golden chests there is pretty much no reason to visit any of the planets except for when you get patrol bounties.
The story was utter shit and everybody already know that. None of the characters were explored. Plenty of plot points were never seen again. The story missions were short and boring. "Go there, kill some enemies, destroy that thing" and repeat.
And to people who say the real game begin after the story. Well, sure, if you like doing the same things over and over again... Aka grinding.
Getting engrams to acquire more light to level up requires no to 0 skill. It's all about luck. You can sit an entire week playing the strike playlist or the crucible and you will still not go past the level you are at. Because either you don't get any rewards or the rewards you get are just useless with less light than you need.
Destiny is pretty much grinding the game.

Because I'm having fun. Fun is what determines if a game is good or not for me. Pretty simple.
