We have been under many names in the past starting with AoR in 2009. We made several clans between 2009 and 2012 and at one point had 4 clans (TFR, AoR, SFG, and RoW) under the Northfire Alliance led by NF Link. In 2012 we decided to consolidate these clans into one and Northfire Gaming was born in November 2012 and has been growing ever since. [b]Q:[/b] Are you a clan? [b]A:[/b] We dont prefer the term "Clan" as it implies that your progression in the community is based on skill in the game. We like the more casual term "Gaming Community" [b]Q: [/b]How old do i have to be to join? [b]A: [/b]14, however if a person displays a certain level of maturity, a waiver may be granted. [b]Q:[/b] Do you have ranks? [b]A:[/b] Yes. In order to effectively organize the community and delegate powers/duties we have a ranking structure. [b]Q:[/b] How do i join? In CoD and Halo we institute a uniform via clan tags, but none are in Destiny. We only ask that you change your motto and bio in your xbox live profile. [b]Q:[/b] Who are you again? [b]A:[/b] Im Hanson. I am a Chief Warrant Officer 6 withing the community. My primary job is to assist the community in any way, shape or form in any capacity or rank. [b]A:[/b] We provide a casual gaming experience. Our branches and their leaders organize game nights, tournaments, various activities, and often hold events for prizes such as 1600 MSFT Point Cards (Replaced with 20$ Xbox Live Credit). [b]Q:[/b] Do i have to change my name? [b]A:[/b] Nope. We always love for people to wear the NF prefix in their gamertag with pride, but we do not and will never require it.
