So Warlocks have the self resurrection which is a free wipe save, and the grenade refreshing super that synergizes well with a titan bubble.
Titan's have the bubble, which is arguably the most useful super of all in a boss fight.
Hunters get a super that amounts to a sniper clip, or bladedancing which will just get you killed in a boss fight. Oh, and some throwing knives.
Why would anyone bring a hunter to a raid?
EDIT: so yes, we've established Bladedancer is useful, I'm leveling it up now (I didn't play it before). Ya'll can't stop posting the exact same thing instead of actually reading the comments from others in the thread.
I'm still not convinced the Gunslinger isn't useless, except maybe on the last fight in the raid, from what I've seen in streams.
Also, if it wasn't clear by my profile: I AM A HUNTER (GUNSLINGER). I was asking to potentially provoke discussion/shed light on class balance issues, not crap on players of the class. Stop getting butthurt, you don't work at Bungie and you didn't help design the class, criticism towards the class itself is not leveled at you.

Because only the Bladedancer can single-handedly revive an entire team with next to no effort without dying for it. A smart one, at least. Moreover, any smart Bladedancer will use their Super on a boss when they know it'll either A: kill it or B: the Hunter can escape from the boss after blowing the load (which is easy for higher agility users). I, personally, prefer to use it on a group of trash mobs. A Gunslinger only has three shots, but those three shots hurt. Sorry we Hunters don't have invincibility frames for our Supers. A good number of us are good enough not to depend on it.
