I recently moved to university and brought my Xbox and Destiny in the hopes of fragging-a-plenty.
Turns out that whenever I try to play Destiny I'm booted back to the orbit screen before I even get into a game (Tower, Planet, or Crucible.)
After some reading I found a claim that some universities have certain ports blocked for security reasons, and Destiny needs those ports.
My Xbox always displays a Nat type of Strict, don't know what that means.
I don't have access to any port configuration or forwarding for obvious reasons.
Is there anything I can do? Is there anything Bungie is doing? I checked online play with Halo 4 on the 360 and that works fine online, and I will continue to test other games to see any variations.
Any responses would be appreciated!

I'm running into the same issue at my University. I have tried talking to tech, but they won't change their settings. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
