WTF is the Cryptarch's problem?
The cryptarch is Pure Evil.
After HOURS of grinding I finally get a Primary Weapon Legendary Enegram and do you know what that asshole gave me?

19 RepliesI don't understand all the complaints about the Cryptarch. If he gave out Legendary and Exotic items like candy these items would cease to be super rare. By definition they're [i]supposed[/i] to be extremely difficult to get. It shouldn't matter whether you farm for Engrams nonstop all day long. You have to look at the bigger picture here: this is a game that's designed to provide [b]years[/b] of entertainment. Players need to re-focus their attention on enjoying the actual gameplay aspect, and let the super rare items come naturally throughout that long journey. Otherwise the game would get pretty boring quickly if everyone walked around with rare armor and weapons within a week of release. It's actually nice to a see game that doesn't automatically reward people for wasting hours at a time grinding away.

He has poor customer satisfaction. Since there are a group of cryptarchs, I would like to speak with his manager about his poor performance. With work this shoddy, I'm surprised the cryptarch community still accepts him as one of their own. Bet five bucks he's cozy with the head honcho cryptarch.

I'm at level 18 cryptarch and so far the cryptarch has been good to me, already have legendary and exotic gear for my warlock, plus he gave me 3 legendaries for my hunter, 2 legendary rocket launchers and legendary machine gun. So either you have bad luck or the cryptarch doesn't like you.

1 ReplyEdited by Twohothardware: 9/18/2014 4:59:44 AMI lvl'ed the Cryptarch up to 15 today saving all my Legendary Engrams and just turned in 8 or 9 and guess what I got? One freaking sniper rifle and the rest turned into blue gear, mote of light, and ascendant energy. I've seriously had better luck getting legendaries from turning in a bunch of blue's than I have purple engrams. After all the hours grinding the last few days and multiple primary weapon and armor Legendaries turned in I've yet to get a single one for my Hunter and instead I've got 5 damn special weapon Legendaries. EDIT: OMG! I just got another Legendary Guantlet for lvl'ing up the Cryptarch after turning in all those last Legendary fails and it gives me 3 Ascendant Energy. This crap has got to be bugged. I don't think I'm even getting 10% Legendary conversion. I demand a refund on all my purple engrams Bungie lol.

I have found 9 legendary engrams and 2 actually became legendary items. But with all those hours playing i was able to purchase legendary chest and boots! Just keep doing lvl 24 strikes. They take like 20 to 25 minutes, you get a bunch of loot drops, and 6 vanguard marks each time. Stop complaining and enjoy the game ppl.
