Let me start by saying I had no issues with the beta and played the crap out of it. First day I got the full game, it was telling me I had to be connected to xbox live (which I was) to play. Figured "oh well, they pulled a GTA V". 2nd day I was able to play for about 5-15 mins at a time before getting the "caterpillar" error code. 9 times out of 10 it happens on the moon mission "Sword of Crota" right after I kill the first wave of enemies with the sword and the first gold named knight spawns. Its pretty consistent that that's where the caterpillar code pops up for me. I've tried playing the crucible a couple times but it gives me the "newt" error code. Earlier after first turning my xbox One on, I couldn't even get Destiny to open. I'd click on it and it wouldn't do anything, then when it finally opened there was no sound and my ship was invisible. I've recently gotten a new $160 netgear modem/router. Best one I've ever had, my friend who's going to college for computer networking gave me a 50 ft ethernet cable so I could do a wired connection for my xbox One and he helped me use the Quality of Service to prioritize my Xbox One. I have an Open Nat and full ping. We checked on the ports thing too because I'd read that Destiny is really picky about certain ports but everything on my end should be good. I'm kind of just waiting and hoping they'll fix this since I've been waiting for this game for a couple of years and it was shaping up to be my favorite game ever. But honestly I'm pretty close to just selling it. This is ridiculous.

Yep, about to take this game's "caterpillar" ass down to Gamestop and sell it off. I *LOVE* the game, but the last day or so I get to play maybe 5-15 minutes at a time. Making it worthless. :( I read about turning off the ISP P2P filters and it helping but no idea how to do it... and shouldn't have to. Bungie had time to iron this all out. BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
