Title says it. What was the last game you played that made you say wow, or whoa, or dbmwrijheeusisjej? (In a good way)
For me it was probably Skyrim. It was a refreshing break from the Nintendo and Halo games that filled my past. Much more freedom in a game than I was used too.

Not much of a "veteran" when it comes to games. But in the years I've played them, I've tried binging on as much as possible. Only a few have actually made me extremely impressed. These include Journey, an adventure based roaming game on PSN, which was spectacular in looks and cryptic in lore. Dark Souls also had an extremely strong lore base, and at some parts gave me goosebumps as I imagined a persons motives or actions (outside of the intense gameplay and frequent deaths that come early on). There are a few more, but I can't think of them now. Destiny is pretty great so far, but I'll wait a bit longer before adding it to a "Wow" list.

Metro Redux. Which is pretty incredible considering it's a remake.

the latest one would be wolfenstien new order. It had a well written story, great mechanics, looked great and it's evident that a lot of care was taken making it.

Farcry 3 and aciv

Arkham city

Hard to say there have been many 'Wow' games but the last game i couldn't stop playing was probably Farcry3, lets hope Farcry4 has the same effect :)
