Fellow guardians at bungie, Having come out of gaming retirement to answer the call of arms, most of my original Spartan army has disbanded and have become mercenaries of the corporate and wall street. So I find myself alone and scouring the forums and bungie.net for a fireteam to do nightfall and weekly content. Thou has not made it easy to find people ingame for ones who bring the pain to our enemies. If I may be so bold to make a few suggestions which would bode well for all interested parties, which bungie should consider in the interest of continuous development and longetivity of the cause. 1. Please allow for viewable status messages when I look up a gaurdian via the roster screen. If I am looking for a fireteam to do weekly heroics I could put a status msg saying the above. This would be viewable by other guardians in the world, who could then add me rather than going to the forums and looking for players 2. Add a search gaurdian by Lvl and class. This adds into point 1, allowing for easier matchmaking and fireteams and would not be limited to the server I would be on. 3. 25 char text box. A simpler option to resolve the in game looking for fireteam issue would be to implement a 25 character limited text box. I say limited to 25 char cos it's apparent text communications were not intended for destiny in game. So a compromise, minimalistic text to get the point across without breaching the creative spirit of destiny I realise that my situation is unique and may represent a minority of gamers who do not have extensive friend lists and don't intend to keep one either. I believe an extensive friend list for the sake of lfg would not solve the in-game communications issue. Therefore I would request bungie to give this some serious thought.
