They are said to be responsible for the outer colonies being transformed. I.e. The Awoken. But it is known that the Nine were transformed Dar more than the Awoken. Like the Awoken, they are no longer directly tied to the Traveler, but Xurs wares are too powerful to drive him away, so a temporary armistice has been made. He has been known to say things such as "The light hurts me." Or "I rose from the ashes." Or even things like "This is not the only end." Which leaves speculation for the Nine to control time abilities similar to the Vex? [b]More to come soon.[/b]
