Introductions! [general]
I figured there might as well be a general introduction thread so there's not a new thread for every new member.
I'm Mat and I'm 22. I've been looking forward to playing Destiny since it was first announced. I've been playing games since as long as I can remember, so I'm as seasoned as a turkey on Thanksgiving. Super Mario world for SNES represent! I'm originally from Atlanta, but the military's taken me to Japan. I'll be back stateside soon enough though. Guess I should mention I've never had an issue with internet connections way over there.
I'm mainly looking to do raids and strikes, with some occasional PvP. If you see me on, hit me up! PSN is Santans.

Hey all! My name is Christian. I am 26 and live in Philadelphia, PA. I love playing games and I am looking forward to seeing all what Destiny has to offer with all of you. I primarily enjoy FPS style games, but my favorite overall game series is the Mass Effect trilogy. Some other notable favorites that aren't FPS include Skyrim, Civilizations, Red Dead Redemption, PS2 Ace Combat games, and original Mercenaries (2 was a pile of shit IMO). I have been a PlayStation owner going back to the PS2, but i have also owned a Xbox and 360 (until the second one RROD the second time). My first system was a Sega Genesis, which i still own (Sonic 2....enough said). Other than gaming, I enjoy riding motorcycles, watching College football (got season tickets), and going to bars/generally partying. As for Destiny game play, I am much prefer to play the PVE modes. Hit me up if you ever want to strike, raid, or generally patrol. I am playing as a Voidwalker Warlock now (level 20 as of this post) and I am planning on specking a support oriented Sunsinger Warlock for raiding. Still have alot of work to do with the latter.
