Loud High Pitched Sound
Anyone else hearing a loud high pitched noise? I have to restart the game when it happens. every sound in the game will have a high pitched echo like foot steps and shot etc.

4 RepliesThis occurs when the kinect chat mixer is set I anything other than "do nothing". Use a headset or change the kinect mixer to do nothing in kinect settings.

Ok so it's not a problem with my game. I was starting to get nervous. But ya just reset the game and it should be fine

I notice it on a lot of missions and even in orbit it drives me crazy. I don't have this sound on any other game I play so I have to ask why on earth would they have such a horrible sound in this game.

1 ReplyHigh pitched whine that is isolated to Destiny, no other games or apps? Goes away if you exit the game? Makes the rest of the in-game audio sound tinny and garbled? Yeah, that's an issue I have too. Xbox One.
