I started the game last night and had to stop a few minutes in. I came back this morning...so 12 hours of inactivity. Obviously, the game lost its connection to the server when I went idle. I got a dialog as such and it started over with the Activision logo and the intro sequence. However, there was no audio whatsoever. I had to start another game on the Xbox and then restart Destiny to get the audio to come back.

A simple workaround is to hit the home button the resume the game. It has worked for me everytime

I've found this with other games as well. Its a side effect of the multitasking functionality of the OS. after you're finished playing, hit the guide button to go home, then while highlighting the preview tile, press menu (start) and choose the quit option. This will reset the program so it loss properly next time and will avoid this problem.

Turn off your console at night my dude

I had this once. Started the download yesterday morning and then left for work. Upon coming back there was no idea and I thought it was my tv. Turned the volume way up and forgot to turn it back down. Fixed by "Quitting" Destiny and launching it again.

I found starting the game from the "current disk" button restored sound for me when I already the game minimized on the dashboard but it seems like a crapshoot at this point.

This happened to me. I had to exit the game and go back in after I started another app or something.

I've found that if you shut off the xbox one before you set out on a prolonged period of time while being inactive from your system, that will prevent any possible glitches, un-foreseen damages/overheating problems (ie xbox360), and can prevent a strangely higher than usual electrical bill. But of course youre just some 10 years old destitard who doesn't pay any bills and does not have the mental capacity to possess any common sense. you stupid destitard, go back to #density.

I find if I hit switch profile and log back in it starts working again.

I just goto tv then back to game and it works everytime

I've found if you hit the guide button, then select the game again WITHOUT ending the app, that will fix it.
