I've went on a diet recently and glass was the suggested food that I eat. It seemed pretty legit and I think it's working, but there is just one thing about it- It tastes like blood! It's extremely nasty but I continue to eat it because it is part of my diet. Any suggestions on how to make it taste better?

Try adding a bit of melted sugar to it. Just be sure to drink it down quick before it congeals and gets all nasty.
