Gales are continuing across southern parts of the UK, with coastal areas facing west bearing the brunt of the strongest winds.
Forecasters said gusts reached 80mph along the coasts of Cornwall, the Bristol Channel and west Wales.
Coastguards in Devon said they were expecting "phenomenal" waves offshore, possibly reaching 45ft (14m) in height.
Western areas of the UK were also seeing the wettest weather, with heavy and at times persistent rain.
In Dawlish, where the key railway line between Devon and Cornwall has been destroyed by waves, concrete has been sprayed onto the cliff behind the track.
One of the areas covered by a severe flood warning is the village of Moorland in Somerset, where about 80 homes were evacuated after the local water level rose by about one metre overnight on Thursday, breaching temporary flood defences in the early hours of Friday.
So the South of England has been absolutely battered by continuous storms over the last 2 months, mainly somerset which is said to have been flooded to an area of a small country.
The army has been deployed to help but as water is being taken out of the area the level's still increase.
And everybody not in the south of England frankly don't give a crap.
The country is also expecting more storms, bad weather and half a months rain fall in 24 hours.
What is your area like?
