Hi all, Im Jim, 38 year old GP from Shropshire. 2 children - my son aged 2 and my daughter aged 1. Between work, and the children I don't manage to have much time for gaming anymore, and my wife is fairly hopeless with a controller (prefers mouse and keyboard, and overall I think her gaming days are behind her!) Have been watching DoD with interest, and the ethos of a friendly group people who have other priorities in life makes it a great choice. Like, it seems, everyone I have been avid gamer for as long as I can remember. The last big investment game, time wise, was Guild Wars - I spent a great of time playing that game, and was in the Servants of Fortuna guild (just in case any of you are knocking around here!) Since then I have found time to keep up with competitive gaming limited, and have more or less just hopped on and off without getting too involved in clans etc Hopefully DoD will provide a nice balance between team mates and some element of competition without demanding too much of my life!! (My wife would kill me of that became the case!) Cant wait to get online on the 9th, although I will only have a few days before we are off on holiday for a couple of weeks, so I need to make the most of the first few days.
