Shouldn't it be "RAID" considering there is only one....I mean I know more are coming but as of now its only "RAID" so was up with that huh like umm you know I mean like what I'm saying is like umm like in a way of umm you know huh like no? Or ya huh? Idk when though but umm ya okay but ya right like when huh though how and how and who but then like I ummm did that thing but ya okay thanks.
Edit: I saw a video where they said vault of glass is the only raid right now.

Why bother using the singular when a plural noun means less work updating every big of information on the websites/marketing/advertising/etc? Saying 'Raids' now, means they don't need to edit all of it later when the additional raids are added. Seems efficient to me, and overly picky by you.

More than one. Dlc..
-
I'm going to do it more than once. Raids.
-
Vault of glass is the first one you can do and that their is one for each planet.
-
Its called raids because multiple people tackle the challenge
-
Crota's End, and an unnamed raid in The Reef will come with both announced expansions respectively.
-
It will take you more attempts than one, so you will be doing "raids".
-
Actually, if you want to be technical it isn't even one at launch. the Vault of Glass opens on the 16th.
-
They have already designed more than one raid, but only have one available at launch. Raid, raiding raids, raiders that raid raids. Who the -blam!- cares man
-
It's like AIDS. You catch "one" and they say you have "AIDS" not "AID".
this post isn't serious :P
-
There will be more. It's a long term project so they include future content in the way they are discussed
-
Reading this post hurt my brain
-
1 raid done multiple times- "RAIDS"
-
I saw a post earlier today with a description about the mext two raids. First called, (and ibcant remember the title exactly but its close) "Crota's End," and the second being, (title in development) "Reef Raid." Crota being part of the second mission on the moon pertains to the hive which is also the main antagonists in the first dlc. Then the second would be comin in the second dlc which revolves around the fallen house of wolves who are workin in "cooperation" with the queen of the reef. Think the info was on destiny db. But cant remember. It somewhere though

Personally I'd have to simply say "That game isn't even out yet." Seriously, we have no clue how many raids, what variety of raids, where the raids will be located. All we know right now is: there will be an in-game event/mission that is referred to as a "raid," and this "Vault of Glass" won't even be accessible until the 16th. So really, we don't know much of anything, and we won't for at least a week after the game launches. So why complain about terminology now? Pull up a chair, get comfortable, and wait to see what happens.

i think its going to be a raid for each planet/moon correct me if im wrng. and also the raid vault of glass suppose to be a really hard raid.

You're an idiot.
-
It's quite simple, people re refering to the fact that a) you can do the raid with more then 1 character so to them its "raids" and b) with each dlc pack there will be a new raid added to the game hence"raids" is being used. If you bothered to think about things before posting threads that will just get you laughed at then it would be nice.
-
Just another thing that bungie uses to mislead or even lie. Its "Raid" until there is another one in dlc or something.
-
I think people mean raids as in will be going on more than one even if it is to the same place.
-
Yes the VoG is the only raid at release. But I believe we will get another raid in the DLCs.
-
A raid is an instanced dungeon which you raid, raids can be called "Raids" too. am i going to raid? am i raiding? have you been to any raids? are there any raids? seems like we use the word raids to describe an unknown amount of raids 0-infinity or two or more. when describing a single raid its hard to use the term raids. here#s my random rant ...seems to take a u-turn at some point
-
When WoW launches there was only 2 raids. Now look how many there are. 6 months after launch there was 6..
-
The only one raid on each planet so total of 4 or 5 different RAIDS thus why they say raids
