Not to mention that rumors were circulating about Zoe Quinn faking a physical attack on herself and dropping names of publicly known gamers.
I won't deny that there are still lingering problems in gaming regarding equality, just like there are still lingering problems about equality in everything else, but Anita has made frank discussion nearly impossible. She dominates the scene any time you try to talk about it and immediately turns the topic toxic. Not to mention that it's arguable that she doesn't provide even an unbiased view on it, seemingly going out of her way to find or staging examples to prove her points.

So... you are saying that no one makes alt accounts to harass people on online forums... *looks around flood* Nooooooo That never happens to anyone. You know, when you look at all of the comments thrown at those two, the gaming community goes out of its way to prove them right. They wouldn't have got the attention they did if every Joe Gamer hadn't threatened to beat them, sexually assault them, make photoshops of them beaten up, send death threats to them and their families... There IS a problem in the gaming community. Whenever a woman tries to do anything, the nerds attack. The only thing I don't get is why they feel threatened. Its not like any of the nerds would put down the doritos and leave their parents basement anyways...
