I really enjoyed the the scout rifle for mid too long range combat head shoots all around then the fusion rifle for close range I just loved how devastating it can be. Didn't use the heavy weapons that much but I did get a cool slow rate of fire mini gun which was awesome.

Edited by frenchpoliser: 8/28/2014 7:35:50 PMHand cannon for me, really got in the zone with it in PVP. Unlocked a nice rare level 10 one I couldn't use and the Iron Banner one which I thought would carry over. Doh! I'd switch to Scout Rifle for longer ranges or more open areas as well as switching up the secondaries quite a bit depending on situation and what good drops I got. Once I got used to the charge I used the Fusion Rifle quite a bit. I also had a cool uncommon heavy machine gun that could slow the fire rate and increase damage. In fact I've just remembered I got an Auto Rifle with the same upgrade in the last couple of days of the Beta. Man that was a beast! In PVP it was pretty much Auto Rifle and Fusion Rifle the whole time. Couldn't get on with any other main. Luckily it looks like Hand Cannon and Pulse Rifle are getting a boost for PVP in the release version.

I liked the scout rifle too-I used the fusion rifle a lot in the alpha, but didn't really bother with secondaries in the beta. If I was at close range I'd be using melee attacks. Went for a rocket launcher for a heavy, because I couldn't resist!
