Our family had the had the original Magnavok Odyssey as our first console, but that was a little before I was Born.
For me my first console was Bally Astrocade. I can not remember the name of the first game I played on it though. We also had the Intellivision shortly after that and the Coleco Vision after that. But I remember playing the Coleco Vision more than the Bally and Intellivision as I was a little older then.
I have played many of the Earlier Consoles over the years. But as for what we owned and what I played first it would be those three that come to mind. Even though I have tried some of the even earlier ones when I was a little older I can safely say that my real first console was the Bally then the Intellivision and then the Coleco Vision. I did not try to Atari 2600 until after those three. We sort of choose the ones that did not become as popular. Sort of like how we bought the Beta first over the VHS and even the old LaserDisc Player if you can remember them. :) ROFL
Thinking back on all the older consoles makes me feel old. :)

Oh baby those Laser Discs were so massively big lol Wow you've been with us since practically the dawn of gaming! Hope you've enjoyed the progression as much as I have.

Yeah I have enjoyed the Progress. Games nowadays are so much more impressive and complicated. The industry really has made great leaps and bounds since it first started. You know, it sort of makes me laugh at how newer gamers these days complain about the little things when new games come out. If they lived through what we older gamers lived through then I think they would have a more laid back view on things. In any case I do not think I will stop gaming any time soon. Games just seem to keep getting better and better over the years. I can not wait to see what the future of gaming holds. :)

I'm so going to make my future kids play NES and SNES games with me! Yeah the future of gaming is going to get nuts when we are in our golden years : )
